And if your application doesn't require the advanced features like an integrated digital camera and laser pointer, voice annotations, multiple colour pallettes or live video recording via USB, then the newly released EasIR-1 and EasIR-2 may be right for you.  Detector resolution, Thermal sensitivity and Accuracy are all of equal importance but if you don't have a high enough pixel count to begin with, the lack of definition and detail will result in low quality images.
