A world first hand held instrument that can detect both Surface Discharges using ultrasonic sensors and Internal TEV discharges using electro-magnetic sensors.
Specifically designed for use by non-engineering staff, the UltraTEV combines the ability to detect and indicate the strength of Transient Earth Voltages (TEV) produced by defective insulation as well as indicate the presence of destructive surface discharges.
Green Indicates no serious discharge. Amber indicates the presence of discharges, but of no cause for concern. Red means high discharges present and further investigation is recommended.
